Commission a Device

Prerequisites to Commission an NDE Device

The goal of the commissioning process is to assign a site key to all the device(s) within the site.

Prerequisites are:

• The device is powered up
• The device is reset to Factory Default Reset (FDR)
• The device is transmitting
• The mobile app is launched
• The installer who commissions the device must be added to and has selected the respective site
• The installer who commissions the device is physically near the device

Steps to Commission an NDE Device

1. Open or launch the ENGAGE mobile application.
2. Select the Devices screen.
3. Click the add device icon (+) on the screen.
4. Follow the 'wizard' prompts to configure the device as needed.
