ENGAGE Modes of Operation

ENGAGE devices support one or more of the following modes of operation:

• standalone,
• standalone with WiFi update capability,
• real-time interactive via host IP (Ethernet) connectivity
• real-time interactive via a host access control panel over RS-485 RSI protocol.

For ease of use and to ensure consistency throughout all of the Allegion ENGAGE documentation, each of these four modes has been given an additional designation as shown in the chart.
